About Us
Boardwalk Brass of Grand Haven is a group of professional musicians who came together in 2014, fueled by the joint goals of sharing excellent brass performances while enriching and supporting music education.
We do this by providing personal, side-by-side experiences for young band members in grades 5-12. We encourage them to learn about their instruments and to love live music performance, inspiring them to embrace music as a lifelong joy. Our members volunteer their time for this work.
In order to fund this music education, we offer multiple public concerts each year. We keep our ensemble intentionally small and high caliber so that we can consistently provide dynamic and engaging concerts featuring elevated repertoire that represents all genres of brass music. Our hope is that these concerts inspire young musicians to keep playing, and inspire audiences to support our mission.
